A seasoned marketer and entrepreneur with over 12 years marketing and market research experience looking after local and international brands. Lungie holds a Bcom Degree from the University of Western Cape where she specialized in Strategic Management & Industrial Psychology. She later attained a post graduate diploma in Marketing and Communications with AAA School of Advertising. She is a mother to a boy child and is very passionate about youth development. She served as a mentor for Dream Girls Foundation, founded Reasons2Read youth book club, an education and literacy movement that seeks to unite and empower young girls through reading and networking. In 2019 she founded her own company Eminent Pearl Communications where she focused on providing strategy and communication support to purpose driven brands looking to establish their purpose and make a difference in communities they serve. She currently also serves as a board member for The Southafricanist, an NPO advocating community driven social impact and positive change.
