Ms Buhlebethu Magwaza is a Business and Community Development Specialist. Ms. Magwaza is a Mandela Rhodes and Watson Scholar. She has a MA degree specializing in Environmental Science and Management from Monash University. She also holds a Social Science degree double majoring in Environmental Science and International Studies. Buhle works part-time as an Ops Manager at Transitions Foundation where she coordinates our Saturday School Programme. She has 7 years of gained experience in research and research support, project administration, project management, project coordination, facilitation and stakeholder engagement and community engagement. She is a youth leader and was a community engagement volunteer for over 4 years. Her experience spans various industries, e.g. NGO/NPO sector, higher education and training/academia, social entrepreneurship/entrepreneurship and has been exposed to working with various government departments. Buhle has a keen interest in development issues; particularly youth and community development and engagement, social justice, women empowerment and environmental justice issues. She aspires to be part of something much bigger than herself and wants to be in professional environments that embody the same values, where she is/will be surrounded by other change makers.
